Fifth LTT in Spain

Different activities were planned for each day from Monday to Friday. The planned events were led by the teachers of the Spanish school. Within the 5-day period, various studies were held, such as activities that encouraged pupils to engage in dialogue with each other, workshops organized by Spanish teachers, and pupil presentations.

Our activities for a 5-day period were as follows:

1st Day: Different activities were prepared by the host country. The pupils presented schools, cities, and countries. The evaluation of the previous mobilities was conducted, discussing impressions and reached goals.

2nd Day: The meeting took place at the school library for oral presentations. Spanish pupils presented their school projects on sustainability in their school and town. They showed the digital posters they had prepared. Once the presentations were over, the pupils were divided into international groups. The groups discussed the projects of Spanish pupils, identifying the strong aspects and making contributions to improve them.

3rd Day: Recycling workshops were held. The pupils made self-watering pots, wallets, and scarecrows using only recycled products. They also made their own sustainability pins to attach to their clothes, guided by the art teacher. Some additional pins were made as gifts for families.

4th Day: The participants visited The Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid, where they explored the biodiversity in Spain.

5th Day: The satisfaction survey prepared by the host country was filled out. The certificate ceremony took place, and the principal of the host school gave out the signed certificates of attendance.

Activities in this mobility took place with the active participation of pupils. They evaluated the project presentations of Spanish pupils and made constructive criticisms. Thus, they witnessed more project processes and contributed to improving results. Besides, they discovered their creativity with the products obtained through workshops and had the opportunity to be involved in the production process, albeit at a simple level.
